Well its been another few busy months of work at the homebaked productions studio so we still have not had time to update the website fully. So much to be done and not enough hours in the day.
The most we have managed to do is photograph a lot of our new work ready to be uploaded but thats as far as it goes for now.
We must keep our promises to our clients and make sure that each and every project is dealt with fast and on time. If it means sacrificing our website for a while then thats the way it has to be.
The Good News is that we have just taken delivery of our new laptop which we are blogging on right now... while watching telly at home. The wonders of technology. So now we should be able to get more done and update the website much quicker than before.
The new website will have more content, updated portfolio and services pages as well as a shop where you can purchase some limited edition items including clothing and prints of our artwork.
Of course, we will let you know as soon as everything is live.
Check back here for more updates soon.
Latest work:
• Packaging design for a global toy manufacturer
• T Shirt range for international brand - due for launch soon
• Logo and branding for Bowen Electrical Services including Stationery and vehicle graphics
• Corporate folders for Drew Pearce Estate Agents
• Menus for The Hunters Inn
• Advertising for various clients
• Poster and Flyer designs for Vintage Vixen Events
After 8 or 9 months of continuous design for others we have decided to do some work for ourselves in our limited downtime. The site will be doing strange things for a while until everything is ready and tested so please bare with us while this happens.
The new improved site will feature a shed-load of updated projects we have been working on, downloads for clients, all updated text and images, a more functional layout and even a shop where you can buy our stuff. We will even have case studies to show you how we can take a project from scratch and run with it.
There could also be a surprise new addition to the company so keep your eyes peeled and fingers crossed... we will let you know more when and if it happens.
Oh yeah... and we will be blogging a lot more so make sure you subscribe and keep reading our drivel... it will get better.. honest.
Homebaked Productions have just completed the brand new Langdon Court Hotel brochure and we couldn't be happier with the results...
Langdon Court have been long term clients of ours and asked us to refresh their existing hotel brochures to convey the message that they are a luxury hotel and restaurant as well as being a great venue for business conferences and period film work. The brochure was designed to be a picture book of all that is beautiful about the hotel and grounds and is printed on a luxury matt paper stock that you just have to keep stroking because it just feels so nice in your hand. Like the hotel, it feels special.
The Wedding Brochure is at print as we type this blog so we will keep you posted on this project in due course. Until then, contact Langdon Court Hotel for your very own copy of the brochure or click here to view it online on our Issuu pages.
Homebaked Productions Mugs are now available for new clients spending over £100 with us. We did have lots of them but due to popular demand almost all have gone. We now have 2 left and are planning some limited edition ones for the summer, and maybe even beer glasses if you are lucky.
So if you want to get your hands on these Homebaked Productions Mugs you better be quick and give us a call to book your job in... if you come and see us we will even fill it up with hot coffee too.
After 6 months of trading from our new Exeter office we thought it was about time we let you see what the place looks like.
Here are a few pics from the iphone
so they are not great but its all we had time to take with our busy
schedule. We hope to make it even better soon and be able to make it
more comfortable and add a bit more of our personality into it, But for
now this is it, the Homebaked Productions Headquarters....
Homebaked Productions has just been awarded our first award... It's only a minor one but our first none the less. We have been awarded a 'Recommended by FreeIndex' award and are ranked the number one design agency out of 425 others across the country. We are really proud of this small achievement and hope that it is the first of many.
We also have another testimonial to add to our list from Mike Bradley from Van Man Exeter who has kindly given us a fabulous review. We are currently working with Mike on rebranding his business and have just completed the sign writing on his first van. We wish Mike all the best and if you ever need a man with a van for removal's light haulage and courier work visit www.hirevanman.com and ask him for a quote. He does a brilliant job and is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.
Finally, Homebaked Productions have now moved into the new office over in Marsh Barton, Exeter. We are in, set up and working hard on designing various projects for various clients.
It has taken a while to get the office ready and we still have a few little bits to finish off but we would love to see you come over for a visit soon.
So... what have we been up to the last month or so? Well... Our existing clients must love us because they keep coming back for more. We have continued to work on various projects for Travel Inns, The Babbacombe Inn and The Royal Hotel in Babbacombe. These include menus, leaflets, posters and signage.. also look out for a Travel Inns poster in a bus shelter around Torquay this month.
We have continued to work with Tail-Spin to promote their extra services to include pet sitting, dog walking and pet taxi's. And we have again worked with our good friends over at Hollywood Limos too.
Our big project last month was working on a corporate identity, logo, business stationery and website for Anita Newcombe Media and PR. Anita worked as the publisher of Devon Life magazine for many years and decided to start up her own public relations business, based in the South Hams, to help promote small businesses and local charities and work to make their ventures a big success. Visit www.anitanewcombemedia.co.uk to view the site.
We are currently working on projects for Branscombe Preschool, Langdon Court, David Wood Personal Training, Lesley Anton Crystal Reiki and are in the process of re-branding The Hunters Inn in Exmoor, North Devon. Watch this space for more and be sure to keep coming back for images and updates.
Don't forget, our new offices are open for business so come on over for a chat about how Homebaked Productions can help you.
Unit 47, above Exeter Signs, Exeter Business Park, 39 Marsh Green Road, Marsh Barton, Exeter EX2 8PN
Well homebaked productions are now up and running full time 9 to 5 (we wish!) but the new office is still not ready. The walls are pretty much up but there is still a lot of painting and setting up to do. We are hoping to have it ready within the next week or two.
So in the meantime what have we been up to? Well, the work is coming in thick and fast and we have not had time to sit down and do anything much with our own promotion as yet. We have completed work for a brand new client from Taunton in Somerset by the name of Donna Noll. Donna owns and runs a Pilates. Yoga and fitness centre called The Studio @ 98 Staplegrove Road and she asked us to produce a new logo, business stationery and website for her as well as her advertising. We have loved working with her and long may it continue.
Staying with the fitness theme, we also managed to obtain more work from David Wood Personal Training, also in Taunton. Again David required a logo, business stationery, leaflets and a website as well as adverting. We are still working on this but hope to have lots of examples soon.
Other work in the pipeline includes a new media and PR company who require a logo, business stationery, a website and vehicle graphics. More to come on this soon. We are also working with a Crystal Reiki specialist who requires a website with an online shop as well as a logo, business stationery and leaflets.
We are also seeing a demand for Christmas promotions already! We have been working on Christmas menus and leaflets for the last few days, which is strange when the sun is shining through the window. Make sure you give us a call soon to arrange your Christmas promotions and corporate Christmas cards.
We can't wait to put our new work up for all to see, we just wish that the office was fully operational so that homebaked productions can run at full speed and maybe we might have time to do some of our own little jobs too!
Just a quick update to let you know about our work with the DR&ES - Devon Reptile & Exotic Society. Homebaked Productions have just finished work on their logo and branding and thought we would let you have a little look.
6 different logos were submitted and a committee of members chose this one. We think it looks pretty cool and look forward to seeing it on T-shirts, newsletters, membership cards and eventually all over the county as the organisation hopes to put on various shows and events to get their message out there. They are eager to get going and the facebook page is already up for anyone who would like to find out more. Click here to go to the facebook page.
Well as usual Homebaked Productions have been busy designing and still not had time to make any major progress with our own website. However, we have been working on two great charity events that we would love to give a free plug to... if anyone actually reads this stuff?
The first one is The Greyhound Sanctuary Fun Dog Show to be held on the 25th July at King George V playing fields in Exeter. Homebaked Productions have been working hard on branding, posters and advertising for this event for some time now and hopefully it will pay off. The Greyhound Sanctuary raises money each year to help rescue, re-home and care for retired racing greyhounds that are left injured, abused or abandoned by the greyhound racing industry. Many dogs are given a caring and loving home through the good work done by Sally Slater and her team. We wish them the best of luck and hope they raise a lot of money for a great cause.
The other great causes benefiting from a great charity event are The Childrens Hospice South West and The Royal British Legion. Our Client, Branscombe Airfield are putting on the annual Air Day and Classic Car Show, also on the 25th July. Last year they raised over £30,000 for good causes and they hope to better that this year. Homebaked Productions got involved when the owners of Branscombe Airfield asked us to come up with a new poster for them. This then quickly grew into flyers, roadside banners, and a 20 page program of events. We we glad to be of service and hope that the day goes without a hitch and lots of money is raised.
Well that's all for now. We hope that the next waffle we write will be from our new office. Fingers crossed.
Sorry it has taken a while to put anything up on our blog but we have been pretty busy the last few months.
We have produced a logo design for new business called One Umbrella Music and they were so impressed that they asked us to design them some flyers and there website. You can check that out at www.oneumbrellamusic.com - more about One Umbrella Music coming up in another blog soon.
Then... We designed another logo and some adverts for another new business called Tail-Spin who specialise in selling tuggy toys for dog agility training, as well as other pet products including balls, beds and leads etc. You can check out thier website at www.tail-spin.co.uk
We also did a stationary job for a past client called James Willis. His Letterheads and compliment slips came out looking great and that is partly to our friends at Printing.com who printed them on some extra lovely paper stock.
What else?.... Umm... OH!
Big News! Homebaked Productions have been asked to manage the marketing and awareness for The Greyhound Sanctuary! Having produced a few posters for them we were asked to come on board and set out some proposals to improve thier whole marketing stratergy and come up with some great ideas to get people parting with thier money for a great cause. The Greyhound Sanctuary rescues, cares for and re-homes unwanted greyhounds that have been mistreated by the greyhound racing industry. We hope that you will be hearing from and seeing them around quite a lot this year. If you do, stick your hand in your pocket and give what you can.
And theres more...
Homebaked Productions were asked to design a website for our friends at Exeter Signs Ltd. After they did such a great job on our van graphics we jumped at the chance to repay them. After months of having the dreaded 'under construction' page for all to see, they now have a nice new website complete with galleries, contact forms, maps, and lots of info about what they do. Check out the new website at www.exetersignsltd.co.uk or www.signsinexeter.co.uk
And finally... We are also in the process of designing a website for Little Wych Herbal Remedies after also designing thier logo. We are still waiting for them to shower us with images but once the site is up, you will be the first to know.
Thanks for reading and check back soon for more updates and images to go with these projects.
Homebaked Productions have just started work on a corporate ID for a new company in the South Hams. Kings Angels are a high end domestic services company offering cleaning, gardening, ironing and more to clients throughout the area. We are working on their logo, leaflets and website and hope to continue working with them as the company grows. We wish the company every success with their new venture and look forward to the next project.
Just got back from having our new van sign written. It looks brilliant and we can't thank Rob at Exeter signs enough for making it all happen. He took our design and it came alive before our very eyes. We hope that it will create an awareness of our company, get our name out there and fingers crossed, get the work coming in. We look forward to working with Rob and Exeter signs again in the near future and who knows... it could be your project we work on next.
We have just completed the new logo for facial rejuvenation specialist Dr James Willis. The 'James Willis - Faces' logo was created to give a fresh feel to the company but without being too flashy and over-stated. Dr James Willis is an experienced and well respected professional and he wanted his logo to reflect that. We went for a nice serif font in colours that catch the eye and blend well with his new website and created a subtle facial graphic to compliment his profession. We wish James all the best for the future and look forward to working with him again.
